When is the best time to do Chardham Yatra?
May–June and September–October. The char dham temples typically open in late April–early May (Akshaya Tritiya) and close in November (Diwali period) for winter. Monsoon (July–August) has landslide risk — we advise caution.
How long does Chardham Yatra take?
A comfortable Chardham circuit takes 12–14 days from Haridwar. This gives adequate time at each shrine without rushing. We can adjust based on your dates and group.
Is it safe for senior citizens?
Yes, with proper planning. We arrange helicopter to Kedarnath for seniors (avoiding the 16 km trek), pony/palanquin options, comfortable stays, and a coordinator who handles any medical needs en route.
